At Patriot Gun Supply, providing our customers with the knowledge and skills they need to safely handle and use firearms is a job we take seriously. The handgun safety course we offer teaches the key fundamentals you need to learn before visiting any shooting range.
In addition to preparing you for handgun ownership, the course provides guidance on purchasing the handgun and accessories that are the best fit for your needs.
Our class covers:
How to properly handle, transport, and store your handgun
How to keep children safe around handguns
How to safely load/unload a gun
Proper identification of correct ammunition
Benefits of various types of fireams
Firearm safety rules and range etiquette
Being aware of your target and what’s behind it
This course is taught by an NRA certified instructor. Classes are offered monthly on a Saturday. Please check the store for day / time confirmations. The fee is $20 per person. Contact us for next available class date.
